Your role will include working closely with developers, product owners and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliveries. Depending on your background, you may work with manual testing, test planning, exploratory testing, or contribute to test automation initiatives.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Planning, designing, and executing tests

  • Reviewing and validating requirements from a testability perspective

  • Identifying, documenting, and verifying bugs and issues

  • Contributing to test strategies and quality processes

  • Working closely with cross-functional teams in Agile environments

  • Supporting the integration and testing of systems in both simulated and real environments

Your qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software/system testing

  • Relevant academic background or equivalent hands-on experience in software and system testing

  • Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Practical experience with test methods such as unit, integration, and regression testing

  • Ability to write clear and structured test cases, documentation, and defect reports

  • Familiarity with test and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)

  • Experience with test automation and scripting/programming (e.g., Python, Java, or similar)

  • Comfortable working in CI/CD environments and contributing to continuous quality improvements

  • Strong communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus)

  • ISTQB certification or similar is considered a merit
